Voice-Over Class: Online Wednesdays, 10 AM - 1 PM | 4 Weeks | $339 + HST Step into the world of voice acting with this dynamic 4-week Voice-Over class designed for both aspiring talent and seasoned performers. Held online every Wednesday from 10 AM to 1 PM, this class offers a flexible, professional environment to develop your voice, expand your range, and gain the confidence to book voice-over roles in animation, video games, audiobooks, commercials, PSAs, and more. Led by Sophie Ann Rooney, an award-winning director with extensive experience in video games, animation, audiobooks, commercials, and PSAs, this course provides industry-level training with insights from someone who has worked with Boat Rocker, Netflix, Industrial Brothers, Ubisoft, Scotia Bank, Anderson LLB, and many others. Sophie has helped many actors land roles in major franchises, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Star Wars, Avatar, and Batman, as well as several undisclosed games for Beyond Capture. She has also guided and directed numerous animated performances that have earned BAFTA and Voice Arts Award nominations (the Oscars of Voice Acting) and on popular animation projects like Pinecone & Pony and Total Drama Island, plus many audiobooks. Throughout this course, you'll dive into hands-on exercises that will help you refine your vocal technique, master pacing and emotional connection, and create dynamic performances that stand out in professional auditions. With real-time feedback from Sophie, you’ll develop the skills needed to perform across various genres and mediums.
